Representing over 50 local, family farms, the Apple Hill Growers are dedicated to supporting agriculture in our community. Founded in 1964 with just 16 apple ranches, we’ve now grown to include unique fruit & vegetable farms, bakeshops, wineries, a Bed & Breakfast Inn, flower gardens, and Christmas tree farms. Classes include:
👩🍳 Hands-on private baking lessons (your choice of a seasonal pie or bread)
🥧 A baked treat to take home with you
🍷 A wine tasting at Edio Vineyards
🎉 NEW: Family baking classes are now available, too! Suitable for families and friends ages 12 and up, your group of 5-10 people attend a step-by-step hour-long class, making your choice of an in seasonal pie or bread. All guests in your party will make the same baked good. While your items are in the oven, enjoy homemade Focaccia Bread Pizza, and, for the adults, a complimentary glass of wine on the bakery deck.

Why are our farms closed during the winter? 🤔 Our farms are committed to bringing our visitors the freshest baked goods and produce that are in season – and that we can grow in El Dorado County! This means that we’re reliant upon the seasons.
We won’t stay open just to bring you what is grown and trucked in from other regions or states. It’s our commitment to quality and staying true to our farming roots.
That said, many of our wineries and cideries are open during the shorter months, along with @24carrotfarm.
